As part of our program of continuous improvement and operating excellence, we constructed a new 50,000 square foot plant in 2003.
The large, multi-faceted space often takes new customers by surprise. Visitors to our plant notice its order, organization, and tidiness. There is a difference compared to many other plants they have visited - our machines sparkle and the work floor is free of clutter and debris. Everything in our facility (right down to the tools at each work station and the pallet jacks) has a designated place and anyone can understand at a glance how work flows and orders are processed.
Closer inspection of the operation reveals standardized work procedures and simple checklists posted at each workstation. The checklists are relentless, from material receipt and pre-picking of materials right through to the shipping door. That’s our 5S system at work! Backed up by numerous failsafe systems and a proprietary docket and production control system, there is visual control on every aspect of our operation.
Everyone in our organization (including each member of our work floor) is fully trained in 5S. It is the discipline that ensures attention to every detail in the production of your order. Most importantly, it is why our organization consistently delivers your project on time exactly as you have envisioned it.
Redundant capacity in critical production areas ensures flexibility to meet individual client requirements and the meeting of service deadlines in almost all situations. During high volume periods or emergencies, additional capacity can be increased to over 10 million pieces per month.
The facility is also equipped with security zones, including totally secured fenced areas, which have restricted access. Entrance requires ID checks and digital closed-circuit security cameras monitor the plant. Like your confidential data files, security of your project's production is taken very seriously.
